Creationism sounds F***ing amazing.  SO DOES SCIENCE.

Ken finished his book and felt invigorated.  He was high off of the story. The story about light and trees and animals.  It wasn't about gravity or combustion or computers, but it was still freaking awesome.  He was a naturalist.  He appreciated the origin of things.  He appreciated the order of things.  He appreciated the notion that everything started from one place.  Wow, one place!  One beginning!  How elegant!  One place, one source, one direction.  As if it followed a beautiful script. It was a glorious story of believing in yourself and your world around you.  Oh, it was a wonderful high!

Bill finished scribbling the last line of mathematical derivations and he was blown away.  The equation describing the movement of water flowing was almost identical to the streamlines he had seen in aerodynamic testing of plane wings. Ah, so pretty!  So elegant!  Just a change of viscosity and scale!  So few parameters to describe so much of the world.  Air and water!  He got so high off of this.  That huge parts of natural life follow some order, are driven by the same energy sources, as if they were built upon the same foundations.  Molecules, atoms, electrons... His euphoria was short but thrilling.  He felt part of something bigger, and then he felt like that bigger thing was also part of him.  What a glorious notion!  What a heavenly feeling.
