Wave, 18" x 24", ink on paper, is complete after 2 months! JULY 2018. A non-partisan political piece about the evolution of tribes in the US, and the view from a plane. I also wrote a Matlab program to analyze the drawing: it contains 16,221 squares (plus or minus 200).

I guided a group of 10 adolescents to create abstract drawings using only a permanent markers and one sheet of paper. Integrity House serves a high purpose by helping adolescents during a very challenging time in their life. Much thanks to Roman Petrocelli for the correspondence, and Evan Weiss for the contact.

Awarded Visiting Artist Grant to teach at Gowanda Middle School, N.Y., November 7 2014.
I taught 5th grade students about the relationship between science and art, and about adapting to "mistakes" when freehand-drawing with only one permanent ink pen and one sheet of paper. Collaborative artwork created by one of four 5th grade classes. Students created a nature design first, then transformed it into a house, and then connected the houses into a neighborhood. All freehand with permanent ink. No pencil, no redoing, no erasing.
